Plan, coordinate, administer and develop strategies and manages reporting and analysis projects to assist corporate sales and operations to obtain optimum machinery sales, market share, profitability, customer satisfaction and to accomplish organizational objectives. Manage a team to collect and analyze data about the different business units including sales, product support, rental, etc., to prepare, analyze, and present company data and use this data to determine new processes, improve current processes, provide cost savings, and help meet company and management goals for the business units.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Sciences, or equivalent industry experience
  2. 3 years’ experience working in a technical role such as Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, Report Development, or equivalent experience
  3. 2-3 years’ experience working on project-based teams with accountability for deadlines and project deliverables
  4. Willingness to learn, be trained, and coach
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills; with team  members and customers
  6. Good working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, word processing programs
  7. Ability to work independently or in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Travels to locations as required performing assigned duties; maintaining a valid motor vehicles operator’s license.
  2. Develop and maintain reporting tools for industry, sales force standards, strategic metrics and industry key performance indicators to provide decision-making guidance for enterprise divisions
  3. Provide direction and coordinator strategy to assist all Boyd companies and divisions with data analytics and business intelligence
  4. Drive optimum machinery sales, market share, profitability, customer satisfaction and help accomplish organizational objectives by applying data mining techniques, statistical analysis and building prediction systems integrated with internal and external data sources
  5. Direct and manage the Business Intelligence & Analytics Department to ensure departmental functions, objectives and procedures are accomplished
  6. Ensure improvements are consistently integrated with other business activities, projects and strategies
  7. Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes
  8. Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code
  9. Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers
  10. Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures
  11. Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
