Manage, prioritize, track, and approve all product support activities for the rent-to-rent, allied and heavy rent fleets of the Company. Other responsibilities for this position are internal and external negotiations, assisting in achieving departmental goals, and providing support and resources to ensure departmental success.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
  2. Management/Supervisory experience required
  3. Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills – verbally and written
  4. Good working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, and word processing programs
  5. Travel to branches or other locations as required to perform assigned duties
  6. Maintain a valid motor vehicle operators' license

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Reduce “Return to Rent” time and equipment maintenance cost to departmental measurement
  2. Monitor repair job and component codes in order to determine proper warranties to select for each product category/gamily
  3. Reduce variation within repair job and component codes
  4. Monitor proper utilization of warranties on equipment in fleet
  5. Provide sale prices on Rent to Sale Fleet
  6. Manage equipment damage issues to proper resolution
  7. Coach and counsel department employees to ensure departmental goals are achieved
  8. Monitor utilization and fleet mix to determine proper levels of rental fleet
  9. Evaluate new product potential and select appropriate vendor relationships to meet department goals
  10. Manager re-rent processes to meet department goals
  11. Monitor rental revenue realization to achieve revenue goals
  12. Monitor area rental activity to ensure proper location of rental assets
  13. Manage refurbishment processes for used equipment
  14. Manage maintenance of facility, grounds, machinery, tools, and product support vehicles to maintain an efficient and clean operation
  15. Work with employees to set aggressive professional and achievable goals to enhance the employees’ performance
  16. Evaluate employee performance on a regular basis and prepare the related Position Descriptions, Performance Appraisals, and salary administration
  17. Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes
  18. Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code
  19. Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly
  20. Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures
  21. Maintain a high degree of discretion in handling confidential/sensitive information and exercise initiative in all assigned areas, High integrity and accountability standards
  22. Assist work team to meet the objectives of the department and the Company
  23. Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
