DESCRIPTION:

Directs and oversees all operations of a store location including, but not limited to the following:  equipment and product support activities, fleet maintenance and repairs, assists in directing district sales representatives to achieve sales, market share, and profit objectives, directs product support operations to achieve maximum customer satisfaction levels, lowest cost of operation, maximum warranty reimbursement, and parts and profit objectives.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Management/Supervisor experience required
  2. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
  3. Willingness to learn, be trained, and coach
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills
  5. Able to communicate with team members and customers
  6. Good working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, word processing programs
  7. Ability to work independently or in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Travels to stores, branches, and other locations as required to perform assigned duties
  2. Maintain a valid motor vehicles operators’ license
  3. Develop and present information to management, employees, and customers to inform, persuade, or promotestore and other building construction product programs, processes, and cost management
  4. Analyze, interpret, & monitor operating procedures & results; identify & correct inefficiencies
  5. Provide direction and leadership to ensure quality, cost effective, timely support of store operations, while attaining profit objectives
  6. Assist and participate with Sales Representatives in overall sales and marketing activities of the store and involve all personnel on creating sales opportunities and increased market share
  7. Develop and execute marketing, sales, and financial plans
  8. Provide input for inventory to achieve profit objectives while maintaining best stocking levels & availability of parts
  9. Manage maintenance of facility, machinery, tools, & vehicles to maintain an efficient & clean operation
  10. Develop product support opportunity in the local market within the capabilities of the staff and direct product support "work in process" to achieve proper and prompt repairs
  11. Supervise all Parts and Service activities in support of the successful merchandising of all products and services offered, including Earthmoving, Power Systems, Rental Services and AG
  12. Hire, train, and supervise staff
  13. Work with employees to set aggressive professional and achievable goals to enhance the employees performance
  14. Use coaching techniques to recognize employees accomplishments & strengths and to improve any other areas
  15. Evaluate employee performance on a regular basis and prepare the related Position Descriptions, Performance Appraisals, and salary administration
  16. Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, management, customers, and the community in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code
  17. Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
